Before having my kids, I loved to cook, and for about 8 years I cooked my husband gourmet meals.  Then when the kids were old enough to eat with us, they didn't like that kind of food, and my husband wouldn't eat "kid friendly" meals.  So for the next ten years or so I would cook two different meals each night.  Now we all eat the same meals, but needless to say, I got burnt out on cooking anything.  Regardless, being a mom means having to come up with interesting and tasty meals day in and day out, which is a daunting task.  So I have created this page to post tried and true tips, tricks, and recipes that my family enjoys.

Please keep in mind that when I cook I don't use a lot of measurements...I season by sight.  But I will post some that have exact measurements, but when I don't have a measurement it will say "to taste."

Bon Appetit!
